Red R Crit Series — 2025 Series Information
The Red R Crit Series is a four-race criterium series sanctioned by OBRA, held at Mocks Landing, Swan Island (Portland, OR). Hosted by the Rainier Beer Cycling Team, this series features a fast, technical course with alternating directions and a range of fields for all racer types.
Race Format
- Course Location: Mocks Landing, Swan Island (Corner of N. Leverman & N. Cutter)
- Sanctioning Body: Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA)
- Direction:
- Clockwise on June 28 and July 26 (pin number on left)
- Counter-clockwise on July 12 and August 9 (pin number on right)
- Surface: 100% paved, industrial port area — wide corners, fast straights
- Neutral Support: Not provided
Race Rules
- Helmets must be worn while riding: Helmets must be worn at all times while riding a bicycle, whether riding around or racing.
- Sanctioned by OBRA: This race is sanctioned by the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association and follows OBRA Racing Rules. Download racing rules here

- Free Lap Rule: OBRA standard (mechanicals/crashes allowed up to 8 laps remaining)

Series Scoring
Each race is a standalone event, but riders can compete for series bragging rights and recognition for consistency across all four events. While there is no official points-based GC, standout riders will be acknowledged after the final race.

The Red R Crit Series affirms the gender identities of all athletes and supports the OBRA Transgender Athlete Participation Policy. View the OBRA Policy – Section 20
- Open Fields: Open to all racers
- Non-binary Fields: adsf
- Women’s Fields: Open to anyone who identifies as a woman or for whom participation is most appropriate in the women's field
- Fixed Gear Category: No brakes allowed, drop bars only, 90 inch gear rollout, and racers must be clipped into pedals.

- Do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms (CDC Guidelines)
- Hand sanitizer stations provided
- Masks encouraged while not actively racing and in close contact with others
